Happy 2013!!

As you can see, it has been a while since I’ve posted. I’m working on a lot of different aspects of my life and lifestyle, all of which take time. Time is, of course, a limited resource, so my writing has faltered as a result.

However, I’m constantly thinking about One Green Generation – the many wonderful relationships built here, the resources shared, the motivations we provide one another. And I want to continue this is some way.

So, what would you like to see here? The sky is the limit, for the moment – please let me know what One Green Generation means to you, and how it might help you.

For instance, I’ve been pondering:

  1. A community website and forum (where anyone can blog and share tips & tricks for sustainable living)
  2. A blog I post ~ once a week
  3. Focus on sustainability challenges (I put a challenge out once a month, and we all report in)
  4. Let One Green Generation go (instead I’d focus on my work blog about strategy, branding & storytelling for social & environmental change)
  5. Something else I haven’t thought of

I’d love to know your thoughts! Please share them with me in the comments or via email. This post will remain here for a while, so please let me know when you can.

Wishing you a wonderful, sustainable 2013,

Ooooh, I think it’d be great as a dedicated challenge space, so we are able to support and push each other!

I’m new to this website but love it. I’d like the community offering and a challenge space, too. Our Transition group is also creating challenges in sustainable living. Thanks for posing this offering.

  • Missed having you blog Melinda! I’ve always enjoyed your posts and the challenges.

Good to hear from you and Happy New Year to all!

I would suggest a mix of 1 and 3. The community (including you) could suggest challenges for the following month and we could all report back at the end of the month on the chosen challenge. It might be easier to keep pushing us that way as life (even on the greener side) does get in the way :)

    Happy and Green 2013!

Good to see you back here! I would love to participate in monthly challenges, but I would probably need the blog post once a week or so to keep me motivated and able to make forward progress. Based on other challenges I’ve participated in, I find the more there is to check in for, the more I will contribute. So motivational!

Either way, I’d hate to see #4 be the answer, but would totally understand you needing to focus on work.

I miss you so much when you are away. I agree with Lindsay and think a dedicated challenge space with a blog you post once a week would be great!

  • I have just come across your fabulous blog and am so moved by your dedication both to all things green and to your own body and healing. I loved your blog on how meditation is good for the planet! Looking forward to seeing how it evolves.

  • Thank you all for your answers. I’m still pondering exactly what I’ll commit to, but I think eventually the goal will be to do #1, supplemented by 2 & 3. Please let me know if you have other ideas along the way!!
