Ok, I’ve mentioned it before. Now it’s time. Come one, come all, it’s time for a local blogger meet-up!
I’ve had the wonderful pleasure of meeting the Shibaguyz. And Laura. And Lesley. I have plans in the works to meet with the great Crunchy Chicken. But I know there are a lot more of you out there, and I am dying to meet the rest of you! Crunchy Chicken and I have been discussing the idea of a regional meet-up for a while, as have Laura and I. And since I previously mentioned the idea, a few of you have emailed me with great interest…. So, how about it???!!!

Worldwide, bloggers will be getting together on August 24th. That’s actually Kitchen Gardener’s Day and I know not all of us are gardeners, but that seems like a good a time as any. However, we’re up for whatever works best for everyone!

August 24th works for me as far as I know.
Still happy to help plan if you need it, although things are a bit crazy around here right now. Also happy to offer up the farm, although I know it’s a bit far for some of you. I might go ahead and host a harvest GTG at the farm if we decide on Seattle proper for this one.

Sadly, we can not make it on the 24th. We have an all day work event that starts at 7am and ends at 11pm that night. We will not be able to attend.

SHIBAGUYZ, Not giving up on you yet!! Maybe we can float a few dates and see if we can’t find a date that will work for you guys – I can’t imagine it without you!!
I am interested. Am I correct in assuming it would be in Seattle? I’m not sure it we would be able to take a trip that far. But so far that date seems to be open for us. Is meeting somewhere between Seattle and Portland a possibility?
Lisa, I would love to meet you! That’s an interesting suggestion – another person from Portland wondered about that as well. I’ll kick it around a bit… Any suggestions as to a location (preferably somewhere fabulous and along public transport routes)?!
I’d love to come. The 24th looks ok, so far. I saw the Shibaguyz at the cider stand in Ballard last week but was too busy herding boys to say hey.
I’d love to come… and we have baseball tickets that day. I’d give them up, but they were a gift, and are in the third row right behind home plate. So, I could make it in the morning or late afternoon/evening. I’m completely available on the 23rd…

I would love to come! I would personally prefer to meet in Seattle since I love that city and an excuse to go would be great. Hopefully I will be getting a job at the library (fingers crossed) and that would mean that I need to ask for that date ahead of time…if I can come I will. An excuse to take the train would be great.
I’d love to come too, but it will depend a lot on the when and where and transportation (no car :) ).
